Magnolia ResidenceBuilt on the foundation of an existing house, this single family home uses a series of boxes to delineate the various functions. Each of the 4 floors includes exterior living space. A roof terrace with dramatic views of the Seattle skyline extends the living space at the 2nd floor. The top floor is an art studio with private deck. Inside, the open plan design utilizes cabinetry as stacked boxes to provide definition of the living spaces.
